Welcome to ChatBomb. ChatBomb was created to strengthen local communities by helping people connect with those around them. Every ChatBomb and every conversation contributes to the culture of this community.
Our Philosophy
ChatBomb is designed to encourage genuine local connections. We believe communities become stronger when people treat each other with honesty, respect, courtesy and personal responsibility.
The ChatBomb Community Commitment
- I understand that every ChatBomb I post and every interaction I have represents my own choices.
- I agree to act honestly, respectfully and lawfully.
- I accept responsibility for my own conduct and understand that my actions have consequences.
- I will treat other users with dignity and respect.
- I will not use ChatBomb to intimidate, harass, threaten, deceive or exploit others.
- I understand that ChatBomb exists to strengthen local communities, and I will contribute positively whenever I use the platform.
Our Community Standards
- Be Respectful:
- Treat others with courtesy. Disagreements are acceptable; personal attacks are not.
- Be Honest:
- Represent yourself truthfully. Do not impersonate others or intentionally mislead people.
- Be Responsible:
- You are responsible for your ChatBombs, messages, behaviour and decisions.
- Respect Privacy:
- Never attempt to identify another user’s precise location or share another person’s personal information without permission.
- Meet Safely:
- Meet in public, trust your instincts, and leave immediately if you feel unsafe.
- Respect Local Communities:
- Help make your suburb, town or city a better place to live.
Behaviour That Is Not Accepted
Harassment, bullying, intimidation, stalking, discrimination, hate speech, threats, scams, fraud, spam, impersonation, unlawful activity, exploitation, or sharing another person’s private information without permission may result in suspension or permanent removal.
Reporting Problems
If you experience concerning behaviour, report the ChatBomb, report the user, block the user and contact ChatBomb if immediate assistance is required. Every report is reviewed.
Our Approach to Moderation
We aim to moderate fairly, consistently and transparently, considering the context, evidence, previous behaviour and the safety of the wider community.
Personal Responsibility
One of the core principles of ChatBomb is personal responsibility. Think before posting, communicate respectfully and accept responsibility for your behaviour.
